Home grown salad
We had fresh greens -- lettuce, parsley and oregano -- from our garden tonight! What a treat! Can hardly wait until the tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and chives are ready.

Yeah, impressive and looks good. However, my heart goes out to the slugs that lost their lives in the battle over this stuff.
OH yeah.....I have formally declared WAR against the slugs. As of 5/30, I am ahead...but it will be a long, intense battle throughout the season. I have yet begun to fight.
